On Monday, the kids wrote & drew everything they knew about bats. We spent the entire week studying books, videos, and direct lessons to gain more knowledge and important vocabulary about these cool creatures. On Friday, the kids were given a new paper to write and draw all of the new information they had learned. We also did an art project by creating a bat out of construction paper. Take a look at the work we did this week!
| On the third day of our close reading, the kids wrote 3 facts that they learned from the article. |
As a directed drawing lesson, the kids created a diagram of a bat. Drawing with children really helps them focus and comprehend at a deeper level! | |
