I do NOT tell children how to spell words in class. They need to listen for the sounds and write down what they hear. If they are not sure if it's right, then they underline it and move on.
If it's a word wall word, then they can simply find it on the wall. The word wall words are the spelling words that are in the homework each week.
I will send home your child's I-READY passwords home soon so your child can practice the lessons at home, too.
The kids listen to stories at their reading levels on RAZ-KIDS and answer comprehension questions as they go. Once they complete all of the stories at one level, they move onto another set of stories. RAZ-KIDS can be accessed on computers and i-pads/tablets!
