| The class had fun learning the penny. We noticed that one side has Abraham Lincoln's head and the "tails" side has an image of the Lincoln Memorial. Everyone was given a penny, flipped their coins 10 times, and recorded their results. |
In this unit, the kids will investigate different methods for solving problems using teen numbers. The second half of the unit involves finding patterns & relationships.
This week, the kids quizzed each other on solving addition & subtraction. The cards they use in class are the same ones that were sent home (the purple & blue cards.) Have your child cut them out and practice at home.
i-pad project! With Mrs. Valesquez's help, the children created slideshows on keynote about content we have studied. Once they are all done, I will post them for you all to see. I'm not that techy, so Mrs. Valesquez will need to help me, too!!!
