On Tuesday, the class walked to In-N-Out on Alondra Blvd. It's a bit of a hike- a mile each way, but it was really worth the effort. Jenn, the store manager, did an amazing job showing the kids around the kitchen and the staff prepared food for everyone....for...FREE!
I'd like to do a special shout out to the amazing parents that chaperoned on our field trip-
Ms. Hernandez, Ms. Wine, Mrs. Torres, Mrs. Almanza, Mrs. Bustamante, Mrs. Vann, and Mrs. Diaz. They were so helpful!!
When we got back to school, everyone wrote a "Thank You" letter to Jenn. I compiled them into a book and gave them to her the next day.
Take a look at all of the fun we had...

Our focus in math is recording, sorting, & comparing DATA.
This is a really fun unit. You'll be seeing this kind of work in the homework. The trickiest part is comparing and determining how many more or fewer.
The most important part is to organize the data NEATLY!!!
